But after having one child, they realized they could handle more until eventually they ended up with a total of six sons and daughters.

She told Daily Mail Online: 'Granted, that's when I was much younger, but I couldn't imagine settling down with a husband and family. Turns out I really enjoy both.

'Having my children has changed my life in countless ways. I'm a stronger, better, kinder person because of them. I'm obviously also far busier, too. It can be hard work to multitask and cover all the bases, but I love it.'

Stephanie, who has over 10,000 followers on Twitter, said they have now reached their limit - there are no spares seats in their minivan - and do not plan to have any more children.

She said: 'I share lots of the sweet, funny moments, but also the train wreck fails. I wanted my social media to give parents a chance to laugh, relate to the challenges and feel less isolated in their own day-to-day parenting.'

Stephanie also shares excerpts from her conversations with her husband.

'"So glad we don't have a TV in our room; research says it's better for communication." Irony: texted it to my husband in bed on his phone,' she wrote in a recent tweet.

She said sometimes people mistake her for a fitness blogger because of the 'six pack' in her name but a quick glance through her feed would suggest that she is not.

In one tweet she revealed how she decided to make salad every night only to throw out the lettuce and eat a bag of croutons a week later.

'I found some of the aspects of being a mother to young children both hilarious & difficult and blogging was a way of connecting with fellow parents about the beautiful craziness of parenthood,' she added.
