About Me
Hi, I’m Stephanie.
I’m a writer, teacher (currently in the “it’s complicated” phase of that relationship), and mom of six. Over the years, I’ve spent my days grading essays, chasing deadlines, attending approximately 47,000 youth sporting events, and trying to remember why I walked into a room. Somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, I discovered that nearly everything becomes a story eventually.
SPM Writes is where I share those stories. You’ll find reflections on motherhood, family life, teaching, writing, reinvention, and whatever else happens to be keeping me awake at 2 a.m. Some posts are funny, some are heartfelt, and some are simply proof that life rarely goes according to plan… and is usually more interesting because of it.

Aside from the fact that you are an incredibly beautiful and intelligent young woman, you are a great writer with a great ability to see the humor in every day events. It sends brushing parents to a mobile parental monitoring apps for parents to track their kids’ brushing and reward them accordingly.
