It’s Always Something
School’s back- 5 out of 6 kids are in school all day now. I love the summer, but I began to look forward to having the kids back in school so that I could finally catch up on everything that had been neglected while I was busy catching up on something else. I wish I could give you the percentage of how having 5 of 6 kids out of the house has supposedly reduced my workload, but we’ve already addressed my lack of mathematical reasoning of any shape or kind before. Crazy Like A Fox (Or A Raccoon?)
I’ve talked often about other people’s crazy, whether it be my own children or strangers in public… because in my mind, they’re the crazy ones. I’ve always been the fun, behind-the-scenes crazy. Tonight, however, I humbly accept my membership badge into a new society: the crazy IN PUBLIC club. Let me first provide you with an example of a fellow member. I was in Target late the other night, waiting on line behind a couple that was buying cat food, potato chips, & soda. I don’t usually note people’s purchases, but in THIS case, it’s relevant. Thoughts on 9/11…

Back To School- The Bliss & The Blues
School started this Tuesday… yup, it’s finally here. On one hand, after being home with six kids all summer, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little excited about the prospect of less mess, less noise, and a break from constant snack requests.
