FabFitFun- Treat Yo’Self To This Cool Box Of Fun!

FabFitFun Editor's Box

You know how the term “self-care” has been bouncing around for the last few years? It’s actually a really important concept for moms, and it’s also one that I happen to suck at. You probably do, too. It sometimes feels impossible to take care of yourself when you’re bombarded by constant needs, and we often put ourselves dead last on the needs totem pole.

This is exactly why I want to talk about FabFitFun!

Let me immediately stress that I’m not being sponsored by them- I’m not getting any money or free stuff for sharing this. I’m genuinely psyched about this, & I want to tell you why you should think about enrolling in their subscription box service.

Back in the fall, I was contacted by FabFitFun, & they offered to send me a free box if I posted some photos of the contents. I was happy to do so, because as I opened up that box of goodies, I was as giddy as a kid on Christmas morning.

For someone who almost never buys myself anything, getting an entire box of cool self-care items that are JUST.FOR.ME. feels like the most amazing thing everrrr!

Fast-forward to Christmas: my mom ended up getting a subscription to FabFitFun after seeing my free Fall box. She loved it so much that she gave both my seester & I subscriptions for Christmas- WOOT!

My first subscription box arrived a few days ago, and I want to share it with you guys. And the reason I’m sharing it is because I think you deserve to treat yourselves, too

First, the deets of the box: all sorts of cool stuff.

When you enroll, FabFitFun has you fill out a detailed checklist of your preferences (likes and dislikes), and the contents of your box will vary slightly depending on your unique preferences.

So my priorities? All the things I’d like to have, but NEVER BUY FOR MYSELF. Sometimes it’s lack of money. Sometimes I feel guilty for admiring an expensive brand that I’d never spend extra money on (Note: would I spend the same amount on a kid need, though? Probably!). Some items are standard, but you can customize some based on your preferences and budget.

This is FabFitFun’s Editor’s Box, which is a collection of items that their staff handpicks for you if you begin your subscription between seasons:

So, what’s in the box??

All.The.Things.

Check it out: moisturizing hand cream (yes, please!), conditioner for dry hair (true THAT), body butter, a warm soft, NEW blanket, cute lil Pier 1 prep dishes, bubble mask sheets, a sleek black handbag, undereye gel masks, and a highlighting eye concealer!

(FabFitFun gets me.)

Included is a card that details exactly what you’re getting, and what a great deal you’re getting on it:

As I said, this isn’t a sales pitch. FabFitFun isn’t paying me a dime to tell you this; I’m sharing this with you because I honestly love it so much.

You work hard, really hard, & deserve to have special “just-for-you” items show up spontaneously at your door each season.

I know myself too well- I wouldn’t go out & buy the items in my box. I’d talk myself out of them, because they are too expensive, or I could put that money into something for the house/kids, or etc. etc.

There’s always a reason to put off treating yourself. And we get used to doing that.

But for $50 a season (four boxes a year), you not only have the excitement of letting someone else pick out cool items you’ll enjoy, but get the excited surprise of anticipating what you’re gonna get!

Motherhood can be all-consuming. Putting ourselves on the back burner for too long leads to burnout- if we’re not taking care of ourselves, it can feel impossible to take care of others.

It’s literally a gift to yourself, and you’re worth it. Be kind to yourself & think about signing up for a subscription. Check out their link HERE.
