April Fool’s Day Foolishness
So yesterday was April Fool’s Day, which, if you’re a parent, consists of being told all sorts of nonsense by your kids, followed by the chant, “April Fool’s Day!” about 408, 937 times. (Like I don’t spend enough time being foolish, attempting to keep order in a house of 8 people…) Yesterday was also Saturday, which means that The Captain was at work. Back To Busyness!
Long time, no see, eh? My apologies for the delay in posting. I’ve been skulking around the periphery of my social media outlets, but my blog posts have been wanting as of late. I appreciate my husband- he works hard and rocks!- but sometimes the fact that he works most nights as well as days can make home life exhausting (aka tedious, draining, etc.). Usually, I’m totally thankful to be able to be home with our kids. Yesterday, thought, was one of those days- you know the kind all too well. I totally envied his escape into the “outside world”. Henceforth, my actual email to The Captain on Friday: (Here’s to every parent that had a bad day!) __________________________________________________________________________ Dear Husband, I have no doubt that you are dealing with your own share of s–t at work today- in a metaphorical sense, of…
