Whether you’re a beginning blogger or a seasoned pro, it can be daunting to keep track of every last post, task, and email associated with all things blog. Running a successful blog requires so much more than just writing great posts; you also need to maintain your social media and advertising in order to grow traffic to your site.

One of my greatest challenges as a blogger is consistency; I often struggle with figuring out what to do when. Can you relate??

I’m not exaggerating when I say that this planner has had a HUGE impact on my blogging approach!

First of all, I like the idea of keeping all things “blog” in one book. One of the first few pages is a password sheet to keep track of various site logins (& if you’re like me, you have a million different logins for a million different social media sites…)

The planner is divided into monthly sections, with a calendar page to plan out your month’s blog topics. Fun quirky “holidays” are noted in order to provide inspiration.

(My favorite? January 30: Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day.)

In addition to the monthly calendar, there is also a monthly strategy section, which allows you to list your:

• ideas & themes
• guest bloggers to contact
• companies to contact
• competitions/giveaways
• products to promote
• expenses & earnings

In each month, there are 14 blocks that are devoted to keeping track of your individual posts- both the actual post AND the social media(s) to support it.

These slots allow you to plot out what your post title & subject will be, what SEO/tags/links you’ll use, when you’re publishing it, etc.

Here’s where it really gets cool…

In addition to planning out the details of your post, you can also keep track of where you’re publicizing it (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc.). And to remind yourself what social media sites you’ve used or plan to use, The Bloggers Bible also provides you with sheets of… stickers! Whoo hoo!
